Hi,

The problem is that you can't have the same product with different themes because you choose the theme in the calculator options. And you should have two calculators and two products but probably you can't hide the product from shop without any expensive plugin.

But there is a workaround: You can use the same calculator, the same product, showing only one product in the shop and using different theme for each.

You should create the theme you want to use for the "company service", say: "company_service.php" and it's something like this:
<?php
/*
 * THEME_NAME: VD Theme
 */
?>

<?php if($_GET['service'] == 1): ?>
//Write here your template using WooPriceCalculator Docs as always
<?php else: ?>
//It will be printed the default autogenerated calculator view
<?php echo $this->view['defaultView']; ?>
<?php endif; ?>

So if you use "http://website/your-product-page?service=1" than you get your simple and cute product theme, but if you use "http://website/your-product-page" you'll get the complex one.

Note that only one product is listed in your shop, that is: "http://website/your-product-page"

Please use the 1.2.23 version to use
<?php echo $this->view['defaultView']; ?>
which will simplify the default theme printing (auto-generated).

Best regards,
Enrico

I've got shop (woocommerce) with different products. Some products are complex and I use calc for them. So my customers could calculate perfect product for them right on woocommerce product page in shop. And then customers could add this product to cart and buy it.

At the same time I've got different pages on my site with description of my company services. For example page about complex product I'm selling in woocommerce. And I want to add calc for this product on this page. Just to tell price for visitors. Exactly like altosmail.com. Simple and cute.

To do calc like altosmail.com I need to make special woopricecalculator theme. But it won't fit for shop product. So, should I make two products in this case? One for shop with default theme and one for page with custom theme? If yes, how could I hide second product from shop?

Hi,

It depends what you want to achieve.

Just for clarify: For theme I mean woopricecalculator themes, not wordpress/woocommerce theme.

Altosmail.com uses just a standard product to show that calculator; using a woopricecalculator theme to change the graphic style.

Why do you need to have two products?

Enrico

Ok, so I need two products then? One for standard shop and one for landing page with different themes?

Hi,

You can use WooCommerce shortcodes: docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/

For example:

[product id="99"]
[product sku="FOO"]

In your page

Hi!

If you need something like altosmail.com, you need to create a new WooCommerce Product: Products > Add new product. You can watch a basic setup here:

altosmail.com doesn't use the default WPC theme (autogenerated) but it uses a custom theme: woopricecalculator.com/documentation#themes

Here some example of custom themes.

Enrico
